Opening number. Jonathan is at his office and makes the big decision to quit his job and pursue his passion for songwriting.
Jonathan and Emma struggle and realize their relationship may not be as good as they thought. Something's not right.
Ensemble dance number in the break room of Jonathan's office as his co-workers can't believe he is quitting.
Jonathan sits alone in Will's studio, late at night, pondering whether he can be a success in his new career as a songwriter.
One afternoon, thinking she is alone, Kiriko dances in the studio to an instrumental track that was recorded earlier in the day. Jonathan sees her and is mesmerized by her fluid movements.
Jonathan becomes obsessed with Kiriko the beautiful and talented vocalist in the studio.
Jonathan and Kiriko are alone in the studio. Jonathan confesses his feelings for her and asks her to "say the words I long to hear."
Emma learns of Jonathan's crush on Kiriko. His betrayal shocks her and she ends their relationship.
Jonathan notices a new vocalist that Will has hired to sing background vocals. Her name is Kiriko
Closing number: Jonathan and Emma both realize that their love is real and strong. They are two - meant to be together.
